As we celebrate our 175th Fair under the theme “Harvesting Memories for 175 Years,” we honour the generations of volunteers, directors, past presidents, and supporters who have carried this tradition forward. This milestone belongs to all of you.

Behind the scenes, what makes this Fair possible has not changed nearly as much as the world around it. It is still powered by volunteers who give their time year-round, organizing events, maintaining buildings and grounds, securing sponsors, and preparing every detail that many never see. From coordinating livestock and homecraft competitions to planning meals, entertainment, and safety, the work is constant and deeply community-driven.

This year, that effort is even more visible as we expand our heritage displays, enhance our children’s programming, and create new opportunities for visitors to engage with every part of the grounds. From historical exhibits and agricultural demonstrations to the simple joy of shared meals and friendly competition, we are intentionally building an experience that reflects both our past and our future.

We also recognize that a fair is more than a single day. It is a reflection of a community that shows up for one another. Whether through sponsorship, volunteering, exhibiting, or simply attending, each person plays a role in sustaining something that has lasted for generations.
