Three Days of Fall Fair Fun at the 2026 Kirkton Fall Fair
The 2026 Kirkton Fall Fair, taking place September 11–13, continues a long-standing rural tradition in Huron County. Visitors can enjoy three days of livestock shows, agricultural competitions, family activities, and classic fall fair entertainment.
Popular fair traditions include the parade, exhibit hall displays, tractor and truck pulls, livestock competitions, and family-friendly attractions such as pony rides and a petting zoo. Other highlights often include the demolition derby, classic car show, pedal tractor pull, and interactive agricultural displays celebrating farming traditions in the region.
Each year the Kirkton Fall Fair brings together farmers, families, and visitors to celebrate the agricultural heritage and strong rural community spirit of the Kirkton area.
Did You Know?
The first Kirkton Fair was held in October 1869, when local farmers gathered to exhibit crops, livestock, baked goods, and handmade items. The fair has continued to celebrate agriculture and community life in the village ever since.
Agricultural fairs across Ontario are supported by the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies (OAAS), which helps preserve and promote farming traditions, competitions, and rural community celebrations throughout the province.
