About the Fair

A Grey County Tradition Celebrating Agriculture, Homecraft & Rural Community Pride Since the Late 19th Century

The Feversham Fall Fair, presented by the Feversham Agricultural Society, is a cherished rural celebration that has brought together families, farmers, and neighbours in Grey Highlands for well over a century. Though modest in size, the fair is rich in tradition—honouring agricultural heritage, rural creativity, and the strong community spirit that defines the village of Feversham and its surrounding countryside.

A Fair Rooted in Early Rural Settlement

The Feversham Fall Fair emerged during the late 1800s, when settlers were establishing farms, clearing land, and building communities in what is now Grey Highlands. Agricultural societies formed to support better farming practices, strengthen community ties, and encourage the exchange of skills and knowledge.

Early Feversham fairs featured livestock judging, crop displays, baking and preserves, handcrafted goods, and demonstrations of homesteading skills, laying the groundwork for the fair that continues today.
